Duane Roth is President and Founder of The Roth Companies, where he serves as a Wealth Management Advisor. He established the firm with a focus on delivering disciplined, integrated wealth management, retirement and estate planning coordination, tax reduction strategies, and risk management solutions to affluent individuals, families, and business owners. With more than 20 years of experience in wealth management and financial planning, Duane advises clients on complex retirement planning, estate strategy coordination, tax-efficient investment management, and long-term asset preservation. He has developed tailored strategies to accumulate, protect, and effectively transfer assets for high-net-worth clients.
Duane has lectured on financial topics at Southwestern Illinois College, Fontbonne University, and Southern Illinois University. His financial and estate planning presentations in the St. Louis and Kansas City metropolitan areas have been attended by more than 6,000 retirees and business owners. He also authors the firm’s newsletter, Perspectives, which shares observations on wealth management, retirement, legacy planning, and the financial decisions that shape long-term family outcomes.
Duane is a licensed insurance professional and holds the Registered Financial Consultant (RFC®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), and Chartered Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow (LUTCF®) designations from The American College. Prior to founding The Roth Companies, Duane advised physicians, hospitals, and corporate professionals on strategies designed to protect and grow wealth over time.
Duane earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Fontbonne University, where he was a student-athlete on the basketball team and later competed at the professional level. Growing up on a family dairy farm, Duane developed a strong work ethic grounded in discipline and preparation — principles that continue to shape his professional approach. He remains active in mentoring young athletes and supporting charitable organizations including the Leukemia Society, Disabled American Veterans, and Seeds of Hope. Outside the office, Duane enjoys time with family, music, and continued involvement in family farming operations.
